We will be showing the movie Conscience Point and the Montaukett Women Circle Dancers will performs traditional dances.

Conscience Point explores the roots of American inequity, greed and pollution. Conscience Point contrasts the values of those who regard land as raw material to be developed for profit and pleasure and those for whom land meads community, belonging, heritage and home. The film goes beyond the Hamptons to tell a story of fighting the elite at a time when so many are struggling to retain their homes and heritage.

  • Sandi Brewster-Walker will do a brief presentation about the Montaukett Cluster of families along the Connetquot River.
  • Viewing and discussion on Conscience Point, a documentary that explores the roots of American inequity, greed and pollution.
